This place is absolutely stunning! The location is beyond perfect, with breathtaking views of the Abbey from both the living room and bedroom. Waking up to the sun rising over the Abbey is truly jaw-dropping. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and bright, with every tiny detail thoughtfully taken care of. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into making this place super comfortable and cozy. The parking is good too, which is a huge plus. Being centrally placed, everything is within walking distance, from shops and restaurants to beautiful beaches. And speaking of restaurants, Whitby is hands down the most dog-friendly place we've been to, with many of them allowing pets. an incredible experience in an amazing location. Can't recommend it enough!

The location of this accommodation is absolutely perfect. You'll have everything you need right on your doorstep, from stunning beaches and shops to bus and train stations. Plus, there's a great selection of pubs and restaurants nearby, making it an ideal spot to explore. the views from the living room and bedroom are fantastic, especially with the sun rising over the Abbey. the property itself is clean, bright, and modern, with every tiny detail met and surpassed, ensuring a comfortable stay.
There are quite a lot of steps leading up to the property, which might pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. this is clearly stated before you book, and despite the inconvenience, the breathtaking view of the Abbey makes it all worthwhile.

During my Christmas stay, two aspects of the hotel stood out for me. the owners were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Their hospitality was truly remarkable. Secondly, the property was sparkling clean and well-maintained, offering lovely views of the surrounding area. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the nearby beaches, shops, and restaurants.
While there were some positive aspects, I must mention the drawbacks as well. The steep steps leading up to the property made it difficult, especially for individuals with disabilities, like myself.

The location of Abbey View in the heart of Whitby was perfect. Everything we needed was within walking distance, from the beautiful beaches to the charming shops and restaurants. The views of the Abbey from the living room and bedroom were amazing, especially when the sun rose over it in the morning. The hotel itself was clean, bright, and modern, and we appreciated the attention to detail that the owners had put into it. Every little thing was labeled for easy navigation, and we were provided with helpful maps and a parking permit. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after exploring the town. Even though we didn't meet the owners, their effort and time in making our stay enjoyable was evident. we had a fantastic experience at Abbey View and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Whitby.
the apartment had everything we needed and the small courtyard was a lovely addition. The only other minor inconvenience was the number of steps leading up to the hotel, which could be difficult for those with mobility issues.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. the owners had obviously put a lot of effort and time into making it perfect, with attention to every tiny detail. the modern and bright interior was spotlessly clean and presentable. the views of the Abbey from both the living room and bedroom were fantastic, especially when the sun rose over it in the early morning. The central location was ideal, with everything on our doorstep, including the beach, shops, bus/train stations, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. Cons: There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about our stay. 😊.
